If its the bag that I think, it was available on Browns website in the nocche colour but its sold out so they have removed it. Is this the cotton bag?

^that would have been my guess too. louisey, I would think that it comes in dark brown as well, like the other perforated bags. I think black will be nice, unless you're a brown bag person. I would stay far away from the white.

Maybe red also? I'm sure any colour will look great, it just depends on your preference. If you will be using it during the warmer months I would say go for a lighter colour if possible.You could always email Bottega through their website. Apparently they are very helpful. By the way, is yours the small or larger size, and if you don't mind, how much did you pay for it?

Mine is the smaller size, and it cost me $1480. (Husband does not know about this part yet...) I expect to be using this bag the rest of my life, not just the warm summer months... I generally tend to like brown bags, but I'm not really crazy about their lighter brown shades, I would prefer a dark chocolate or espresso. Red might be good, too - I red bags. In the end, the black might be fine, as the texture kind of softens the color somewhat. The SA told me the white looked really gorgeous because the detail stands out so much, but I could never do a white bag - a) not my style, and b) I'd be terrified to take it out of the house. Thx aspen, I have been asking BV sa but none of them know whether BV going to make the noce limone in small or not. I called the factory in Italy as well..OMG they don't really speak english. PLease2 if anybody knows anybody in BV and have the info please pm me. I will be very grateful.

So now the options are btween the small veneta bag in dark chocolate or large veneta in noce limone =( or small veneta with the lace/pleated leather all around the bag? Please2 help me to choose..i am too confused.

I loved the perforated/lace when I saw the photo. When I saw it IRL, I wasn't impressed. Its a nice bag but not one I would buy. To many others to choose from. B)

The small chocolate is a classic style/color. One that you could use for years.

louisey, the bv boutiques carry this bag in white, black, nocce and red. I think black is your best choice (while I love red, I'm not crazy about this red which is a little orangey). it's a great bag but the small is definitely too small and I didn't see the large.

I saw the new cervo crocker and indeed, it has weaving on the front and back and has a flat handle, not the braided one. the blue is gorgeous -- a rich, vibrant blue that I had hoped the jimmy choo ramona was (but wasn't). it also comes in a new dark red which is improvement from last season's red.

You are so lucky to have seen the new Cocker. I've been dying to see a picture but no luck so far. Was the dark red a sort of wine colour or simply a dark red? I'd love to get one but I'd rather see what it looks like first. Unfortunately no BV stores anywhere near me and the catalogue they promised me has still not arrived. The blue sounds great too. Decisions decisions.....

Yes, that is the Lago/navy. If you look on their website the red is shown in a few of their bags. The large cabat is a good photo of what it looks like. A bit bright for me.

I'm pretty sure its the same price. You have to get it through a BV boutique. Neimans, saks have the old style in the same color. I like the old style better. I think I like this style better in the lago.

Now I'm worried that I might be dressing wayyy too young with this bag... I emailed the BV personal shopper about the colors, haven't heard back yet.

I have that cocker in the dark brown. Its a bit annoying getting in and out of the bag, but other than that its great. Why don't you get the Neimans one then if you like the colour and handle? As for the other style, the one on NAP I got my mother one also in brown. Its a nice bag but I definitely prefer the cocker one. I'm not sure what I'm going to do.

Thats the exact bag that was on Brownsfashion last week. I thought it was very nice but very expensive for such a small bag. Oh if only it was bigger and cheaper! I guess its a more lady-like style....thats not me for at all!

I don't think you're dressing too young. Its a very nice small bag.....don't let JS put you off the bag! I think it would be great for evenings. Check out the red one, maybe that one will work better for you. Good luck either way.
