I find that the jardin bag looks more gorgeous in the picture than IRL. Or perhaps the leather isn't as seasoned yet.

In any case, the base makes it really bulky.

The Jardin bag is gorgeous--I picture it being used at some black-tie event. Definately not an everyday bag for me, so impractical for me there plus not exactly in my price range...but I still love it.

I'm usually not a wallet person but I actually prefer that wallet to the bag though. I hope you're able to get yours, kare2711!

I thought the same thing. I was actually underwhelmed when I saw the bag (esp in black, it was kinda blah.) The gray is nicer.

Trendoid - I think the size is more appropriate for an everyday bag. It would be too big for a formal evening event.

Supposedly because the flowers are individually sewn and then stitched onto the bag.

the prices at bottega this season are plain silly- the gucci group obviously want to market bottega as their highest end brand- lets face it its made in the same factory !

Bottega gets all the best skins, according to the New York SAs I do think their bags feel more buttery than any others though, so maybe it's true.

Everytime I've went, I've found nothing at Woodbury commons... I was in the BV store... didn't see much.. but Maybe it depends on when you go.

You'd be much better off shopping in the city than Woodbury Commons, in my opinion. I went there once last summer and it took a long time to get there and I didn't think it was really worth it.

I did get a large teal leather hobo with bamboo handles at Gucci for $389 though.
