I agree, Brandon Routh isn't that hot, he's a handsome fellow but he doesn't ooze sex like other possible candidates. Maybe that's what they wanted for Superman, classically handsome, not total stud in his red bikini!

Thats exactly how i feel! I've never really been a fan of Superman or any comic book characters for that matter. But after seeing Superman Returns, I am obsessed with Superman! Not with Brandon, but w/ the movie in general. I'm not sure why, maybe I want Supermanto be real? I'm confused!
