IA with the fact that she was most beautiful in the mid-to-late '50s, when she had that fresh, beautiful face and that GORGEOUS lush blonde hair. (Although she was always very pert and adorable as a young brunette too!) And though I've been enjoying everything in these threads, I LOVE those last few gifs of her! What movie is that from, btw?

Also, a request: does anyone have any photos/gifs of her from the movie En Cas de Malheur? I found a few nice photos online but I'd love to see more. I thought she truly looked her absolute BEST in this movie-- she's so magnetic it's hard to take your eyes off of her! (And her hair has never looked better, IMO.) Caps would be much appreciated. I found this movie on Youtube but the quality isn't the best there. :(

Also, this photo of hers is GORGEOUS. I think her mischievous grin was one of her best features, right behind her figure and her hair. Can anyone tell me if this comes from a movie?

Hi FunnyFan, glad to see you here ! :flower:

The gifs I posted are from the movie "The Night Heaven Fell" ;)

I don't think I have gifs from En cas de malheur" but I do have pictures, will post soon ! I have the movie on DVD and I agree it's a great one.

The last picture you posted (back shot with the dress open) is from the movie "Une Parisienne" !

So, as promised above, a few pics from "En Cas de Malheur" :D (btw if you speak French the movie is on Dailymotion, not the best quality of course..)

Thank you for the welcome! It's always good to have one when you come to a sub-forum!

And thank you so much for identifying where the gifs and pictures come from! I had an inkling it was from Une Parisienne, since the dress looks like that spectacular red number she was wearing for a bit. And now I have to go look up "The Night Heaven Fell" on youtube-- BB looks fantastic in that as well!

Also... what fantastic photos from En Cas De Malheur!!! Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! She truly did look her best in the movies of the late 50's... she was always beautiful (hell, I think her face is actually still quite nice for her age even now!) but she definitely looked so wonderfully fresh during this time.

Anyway maybe have some screencaps from En Cas as well???

A Few Caps from En Cas de Malheur

And just so I don't come off as too demanding... I went ahead and tried to make some caps from the movie myself! I used the best Youtube vids I could find and unfortunately, my caps aren't the sharpest as a result... but BB still looks fantastic in the movie and that shines through, if nothing else!

Thank you  I didn't find many caps :( However I've got the movie on DVD, I might try to do some ! But aren't you afraid it will be kinda spoiler-ish if you haven't seen it already ?

Yay, I'm really hoping you'll do that! BB caps are sadly lacking from many of her earlier movies. There was a great website that had some caps of her-- Bardot Database-- but it seems to have gone down over the last few weeks. It might be up to us now!

And, heh, don't worry about screen-cap spoilers. I actually read a summary of the movie, since I can't speak french or find an English-dubbed version of En Cas. Also, I already saw the infamous, er, "breast-shot" of her from the end of the movie. I think I'm pretty well spoiled already. ^_^

---

Also, turns out the Bardot Database website is up after all! It must have just gone down for repairs or something... In any case, it's a GREAT resource for BB fans, as it has lot of caps from 4 of her movies (though not En Cas, alas!) and a great section on photoshoots and scans of her. Check it out!

Also, from bardotdatabase.com, a couple of adorable pictures of BB from Une Parsienne! Apart from En Cas de Malheur and Et Dieu Crea La Femme, I think this is the movie she looked best in! Her body in that tight red evening gown... ::swoon::

She truly was one of the sexiest women ever alive, and what's great about old-school BB is that she NEVER had to flaunt it obviously. She was more teasingly playful than anything else... and that only made her more beguiling!

--> BB the sexy secretary! Be still my beating heart.

--> Her waist-to-hip ratio is INSANE.

--> She looks great in the tomboy look too!

--> Her little dance is adorable!

Oh, and one more picture from En Cas, for the heck of it. Seriously, BB had gorgeous skin in this movie too. Was it naturally like that or did she use cosmetics as well...?

Source: toutlecine.com

She used make-up for sure but I don't know about cosmetics like scrub,mask..back then I don't think they were as popular as they are today. And Brigitte is so careless (no sunscreen, smoking, alcohol) she probably didn't use that many..
