i've running the world in my head at the moment, actually- though i don't have the album.
huge britpop fan- though have kind of grown into a slightly differing taste now, oasis will always be one of my top 5 bands, as will verve. loved kula shaker, travis, supergrass and most of the others mentioned as well, especially between 16 and 23.

The concert was a couple of days ago and he was so good! I got there early so I was standing front & centre, right in front of him (although he did move and dance around the stage, of course). He had great stage presence (and looked really tall , which I didn't expect for some reason) and did some silly things like push-ups and swinging on the hanging speakers. The highlights of his set for me were Don't Let Him Waste Your Time, C***s are Still Running the World and Black Magic. He didn't do any Pulp songs.
Unfortunately, cameras weren't allowed so I couldn't take any photos (they checked everybody's bags so I couldn't sneak one in)

Yeah his singing was great, that definitely hasn't changed
He also did this really high "bat call" for like 30 seconds (it's hard to explain why, but it was so funny).

Ah, brit pop. I don't like Oasis or Blur (much) but Pulp/Jarvis were lovely, and I love love love Suede...not mentioned before in this thread. Before 1996 or thereabouts.

Not really into the Tears, Suede seem to have lost it right around 1996. Guess Brett had to pay back for all the fun times of his youth - it became a little too hmmm serious (in multple meanings of that word) for me - and perhaps Bernard Butler's got something to do with it....

well,damon was the IT boy... besides,justine was not good enough for damon or brett...they need ME!!!
it is amazing that whole brit pop had these skinny, cute, talented and very sexy guys... even jarvis had his moments!!!
