Céline F/W 11.12 Paris

This is amazing! :woot: The subtle use of red on Mirte's fur coat is all it took for me to love this. Great collection considering last season's disappointment. The wood paneling detailed looks, the pink look, and the camel dress with leather detail on the sleeves were my favorite pieces. I also loved the colorblock sweaters.
Magnificent collection. Philo is a minimalistic genius.

She used the same elements that most every designer tried to execute this season -- '70s looks, sophisticated and structured fur lapel coats, snakeskin shoes, color blocking panels, bright coats and, unlike them, knocked it out of the park! She gets "it", she knows what people actually want to wear, how they want to wear it, and most importantly how the consumer can most effectively wear it. All hail the queen of minimalism, Phoebe always does it brilliantly and never drably!

in terms of practicality and commercial appeal, this so far has been my favorite collection this season.

she's done it once again! I really like it (except the wood prints).

while i agree that the wood prints fell one beat behind -- what stylist wouldn't have loved to pair them with the rodarte concoctions from last season -- phoebe philo continues to prove that sensible real clothes can have the same impact as the most costume creations put on by some other houses we've seen this week. yes, we all know this stuff won't raise our eyebrows like gareth and it won't send our minds into dream like haider, but there's something to be said for creating the perfect pair of pant, the shoe that will get worn until the heels pop off, and hand bags that women will treasure for their entire lifetimes.

in this season where we continue to eulogize the death of the showman, leave it to a strong, confident woman to let her clothes -- and not the theatrics surrounding them -- do the talking for her.

I love Philo. I love Celine. I adore this collection.

Balenciaga spring 10 vibezzzz. w/ the leather patch work pieces.. nonetheless she turned it! lol LOOOVE the tangerine bias cut overcoat.

Philo never ceases to amaze me with what she can do. I want every thing for its simplicity with a chic touch.

I've never liked a Celine collection right off the bat, but this is quite nice. I love the industrialization in the construction and the colors and textures are a dream.
Although this is simple it's a lot edgier then some of the clothing we've seen so far this season. And the shoes are wonderful.

I seriously dislike the shoes. I cannot even imagine how ugly this top "tongue" will look after it has cracked after wearing them a couple of times.

Other than that... an OK collection I guess.

great. love everything. clothes, shoes, accesories. especially orange and dark-red coats are soooo lovely - wood pattern looks so believable. at first sight i thought model weared something from real wood  . it impresses me so much

I really like this. A lot. I like the decadence that has been so reined in, as far as the inspiration, colors and materials are concerned. To be inspired by luxury cars...to use faux and real furs, leathers both artificial and real...to pull from color palettes of the 60's and 70's...it's all very heady...and yet Philo manages to pull it all together and give all these elements a bit of sobriety and solemnity.

I love the browns and rusts and coppers mixed in with flashes of pink (a la Kinga's look) and the accessories are also incredible. I love me a good court shoe and this one is certainly superb.

I really love this collection. I don`t know why it`s involved with Cars but it doesn`t matter. Love how Phoebe retained the Minimal Celine look while adding a new twist to it. Lovely!
