Calvin Klein F/W 2024.25 by Mert Alas

LOVEEEEE THIS!!!! Greta is slaying!!

Literally never seen a single movie she's been in, let alone even heard of any of them. Astroturfed.
She has mostly been known for TV where she has been on several top shows but also in movies she's had some small parts and has major roles lined up for major franchise movies.

Clever. The people asking who she is will remember this ad in 12 months time when she's a household name. High level campaign casting is about being ahead of the curve and I can't think of a more savvy example of good casting than this. Greta Lee just did an indie zeitgeist film (past lives) that is critically acclaimed (and big but not too big), relatable to a market they want to expand into (Korea - She's Korean American), unambiguously very attractive (and being portrayed with a sexier edge for the first time). This is a case study in what a perfect casting is.

Highly unlikely.

Just like Taylor Russell, I only know Greta from Loewe's ad, not from her film work
She doesn't look great here
She is an odd choice from Calvin Klein to pick to front this ad solo, she isn't a usual CK underwear girl like Hailey Bieber or Kendall or Kaia type
I see Greta more as a CK ONE kind gal

As to her relatability to the Korean market, doubtful, most Asian markets are extremely tough and demanding for any actresses and models to look a certain way, the standard of beauty is extremely narrow
Jennie Blackpink's CK ads are more relevant

Agreed, she's a perfect fit for this brand and campaign

I don't mind this. She has a presence that is both seductive and playful without it being porny. The socks and shoes though with the chair/sofa shots... Just no. When she looks so slick with the wet hair, the whole shoes and sock combo doesn't make sense for those images. With the jeans, sure, but when in just underwear? No.
