I mean maybe it's not that difficult to turn this jeans in to more straight shape?

If you are any good in sewing, you could, but you have to remember that skinny jeans are often strech, and have a very different cut. I like the idea, though, good luck with it!

:flower:

Do you mean different cut in the legs or in general. I think that the skinnies might be a little wider in the knee.^_^

turn them inside out & take them in from just above the knee!
very easy. ;]

I've taken a bootcut pair of Diesel jeans to a tailor and they took in the width at the bottom to make it more straight leg. they called it "tapering" and it's a really easy and cheap process for them I suppose. It only costed me $15-$20.

I'm taking 2 pairs to the tailor tom. together with a R&R skiny for him to copy. I'll let you know if it works, I have too many boot cut jeans.Thank you.

Me: "it's not you, it's me."

Bootcut jeans: "Really?"

Me: "No, it really is you."

Pulls out scissors and sewing machine.

And that is what happened to my bootcut/flare jeans. ugh, flare.

ha,ha,ha :D

it worked well on one of the pairs sa they were tight around the knee!, the other pair is ok but not really skinny

turn them inside out, put them on, pin the fabric as you would like it, carefully take them off, baste the fabric, turn them the right way round (to see if they look right), turn inside out again, sew (machine is preferable, and use a straight stitch).

They are easier than they sound. Im 13, I don't sew that much and it only took me half an hour.

Yeah you can totally do that. If your jeans are not stretch, take them only from below the knee. I had a pair of skinny jeans that tore at the knee =(

First, Measure you leg: measure around your calf, and the narrowing down to your ankles, add about 1 inch to all the measurements for seam allowance. Then lay your jeans out flat and mark all of the measurments in a short dash on the side going down to the narrowest measurment in a straight line going down to the end of the jeans, cut on the line. Turn you jeans inside out and sew as close to the end as possible remembering to backstich at the start and end. To finish, use a serger if you have it to finish edges for durability. Just remember to leave enough room at hem to fit your foot through:D
