for girls,
i'd go for the Veronique B capes, and the Chanel which is connected across the waist.

I simply adore capes, in my mind they are one of those styles that are story inducing, like they make you think, when you see one its like there's more to it, romantic notions I guess.

Armani Exchange has a wool, hip length cape for around $140 retail, but it might be on sale for less now.

Lately I've gotten obsessed with capes after seeing a few gorgeous ones on ebay. I ended up forgetting about them, though, and missed out on the bidding so I haven't gotten any. lol I find capes to a fresh alternative to all the other coats most people use and hopefully I can get my hands on one before EVERYONE has one. (A pet peeve of mine.. when things become TOO trendy.)

I'm also more of a vintage-y girl and the cape of my dreams sold on eBay years ago for $322.17. If you bought it, shame on you for ruining a 15 year old girl's dream. Actually thanks for saving her the cash! I have the pictures on my computer which amazingly enough, satisfys me almost as much as owning the thing
