Cara Delevingne

^I think it is. She is slowly coming back into modelling or is it just me? Seems like she didn't have her momentum as an actress. People completely forgot about her...

She's still filming and still has films that haven't been released yet but I do think she's modelling more for publicity and to keep in the eye of the media. :)

^Do you know what she's been working on? I know there's the Suicide Squad movie coming up.
She was more talked about when she was a model IMO. She's a decent actress to be honest so I understand why the media isn't talking a lot about her.
(Thanks for the info by the way:flower:)

She's currently filming Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets and still has Kids in Love, Suicide Squad, London Fields and Tulip Fever to be released so I'd say she'll be very busy when they come out!

I agree with you though! I prefer her as a model anyway hahah

The 23-year-old British star says she's "not doing fashion work anymore" in a new interview with The Times, explaining that the demands of the industry has taken a serious toll on both her physical and mental health.

"I was, like, fight and flight for months. Just constantly on edge," Cara says about her life as a model, which she says affected her so much that she developed a psoriasis outbreak. "It is a mental thing as well because if you hate yourself and your body and the way you look, it just gets worse and worse."

"Modeling just made me feel a bit hollow after a while," she adds. "It didn't make me grow at all as a human being. And I kind of forgot how young I was. I felt so old."

"I am a bit of a feminist and it makes me feel sick," she recalls. "It's horrible and it's disgusting. You start when you are really young and ... you get subjected to ... not great stuff."

"I ended up feeling a bit empty," she later revealed. "Fashion is about what’s on the outside, and that's it. There's no searching, it's just creating pretty things."

In her most recent interview for July's Vogue, the model-turned-actress revealed she gets more satisfaction from her new career: “The thrill of acting is making a character real. Modeling is the opposite of real. It’s being fake in front of the camera."

“I’m not sure I understand what fashion is anymore,” she said.

“I admit I was terrified to leave. I mean, the bubble gives you a kind of dysfunctional family. When you’re in it, you get it. And the second you’re out of it, you’re like, What the hell just happened?”

I for sure believe in what she *literally* says on twitter, than what they say she said, on a interview *where you can't really see the words coming out of er mouth/it's not her writing*
And even if she ever said she was quitting modeling, who cares? People can change their minds.
I'm actually glad she's modeling again, cuz she's really good at. She surely can do both.

Girl ain't getting praised like she was in the fashion industry so she's coming back...
Backstabbing an entire industry and then saying you never quit? It doesn't work like that.
You can't do both Cara. Especially when you had problems with overworking in the past. Modelling is not a hobby, if you don't want to do it then thousands of young girls across the world will do it AND without complaining.
Don't take it for granted because it's what it looks like.
If newspapers aren't telling the truth then why isn't she suing? It's called defamation. She said acting has always been her dream and that's she moving on from modelling. It's quitting for me.

Yikes. The girl is getting in over her head. Starting with the heavy-handed metaphor of taking off those heels. "Your flaws are what make you special." Then the poem. Soon there'll be a book. I can't wait.:(
