Carey Mulligan

I love that picture and the interview is just hilarious! I cannot believe she had to convince Steve Mcqueen to cast her in "Shame". Dude she is brilliant and can play anything.

That interview is brilliant. I love how she describes working on Drive as staring at Ryan Gosling for a while each time ha.

I think it's great that she admits that her character pretty much does nothing in Drive. :lol: I really wish they had done more with her. But at the same time, I think it's admirable she takes supporting roles. It's all about gaining experience and working with different people.

She was so close to winning Best Supporting Actress at the New York Film Critics Circle today!

Chastain had to go three rounds before her 33 points banquished Carey Mulligan's 27 (for "Shame'') and Vanessa Redgrave's 26 (for "Coriolanus'').

I wanna see how Carey is like, when she have drank 17 red bulls
and is wearing pink fluffy slippers!
:lol::rofl:

I cannot wait to see Shame...know Carey is going to knock that role out of the park!

The hair looks so funny at the back. Is she wearing a wig? It's kind of funny because she had a bob, but she cut it off.

My friend and I were recently on set, and Carey is the sweetest woman I have ever had the pleasure of meeting!

^Lucky you! Is she as gorgeous up close as she is in pictures?

Love seeing the costumes for the Great Gatsby, even if the movie isn't all that I'm sure the visuals will be stunning, as will Carey.

I love how casual you are about it! Please tell us more!

She has the most amazing skin I've ever seen! It was a brief encounter, but she seems so genuine and humble. She walked past during a reset and I managed a small little chirp, but she smiled and said hello. Nothing seemed to be a problem for her, she was just very sweet and approachable!

I was watching Bleak House (2005) the other day and oh-my-goodness does Carey look young in the mini-series. I'd never seen it before but she plays her part well, and the mini-series as a whole is really good. It's kinda fun to go back and see some of her earliest films. But she sure does like playing in period pieces (and who can blame her, the costumes must be such fun to wear).
