I don't know what reviews you have been reading, but from what I've seen, the film has been getting a positive reception.

The reviews in general have been good,a lot of people are saying she will be nominated for an oscar.And will probably win.I saw the trailer and it looks fantastic,definitely a movie I'm looking forward to see.Same thing for Wall Street 2.

That's lovely - sorry, I'd seen some reviews in uk papers after the film premiered in Sundance (presumably by reviewers who'd been at the screening) which were either not enthusiastic about the film or slightly critical, but which all praised Carey's performance. I do hope the film is good though, I'm looking forward to seeing it

Really stunning eye make-up. The dress fabric is seriously unphotogenic and shapeless - plus those boots don't suit her. She should stick to softer looks in my opinion.
