Carla Bruni drapes herself across her husband for magazine shoot
The 53-year-old president invited photographers from Italian weekly Chi into the Elysée Palace, his spectacular official residence, for the photo shoot which was then splashed across seven pages of the magazine.

Chi wrote: "For the first time Nicolas Sarkozy poses at the Elysée with his new beautiful wife Carla Bruni with whom he is very much in love and who has changed him a lot."
In one shot he is pictured in his ornate office sitting at his desk with Italian-born Miss Bruni on his knee in a white, open-necked blouse.
In other pictures she is seen applying make-up in an office at a walnut desk, two telephones and an ornate gold carriage clock on the mantelpiece behind her.
The magazine also shows her holding up photographs of the couple with dignitaries who have visited France in recent months, including Nelson Mandela.
Mr Sarkozy calls his wife "Carlita" or "mon ange", my angel, and has spoken publicly about how his life has changed since their marriage in February.
