I saw her at the culture
show, I was not impressed with how she comes across at all... really pouty
and looking "seductively" into the camera.

^thanks.
I think she has the most agreeable and appealing of voice, but I don't see the wittiness everybody keeps banging on about.
As a general rule, she comes off cleverer in print interviews.

^She comes across a little bit too eager to please and seduct. That´s a minor flaw, to my eyes, but it robs her of some seriousness.

That´s maybe why she comes off cleverer in print, because they edit out the pouts and the batting of eyelashes and the foxy smiles.

She is definitely a lethal weapon menwise. Some of the things I don´t like about her and this kind of women ( I mean all foxy and sexy and husky voiced, coy smiles and eyelash batting), are just the kind of things that make men melt...

Maybe I don´t like that kind of stuff in her because I´m envious...I wish I could be a bit more like that. I´m a bit too much Liz Lemony.

I was just re-watching a documentary about Peter Beard, and Carla appears in it, in a totally different look than I've ever seen her. She is very grungy in an Alexander Wang way, lol. Greasy messy hair under a big beanie and in an old gray tee and leggings. No wonder I didn't recognize her at first.

That's exactly what it is. I was trying to articulate what bothered me in this video and you hit the spot. I think all this pouting makes her look a bit daft and immature.
Her print interviews, especially in French, are highly readable, however.

Personnaly I am not envious because, save for Raphael, I think she has terrible taste in men and I do not envy her any of her conquests (especially Sarkozy). Also, her brand of seduction just isn't my taste. She just too literal and the fact that she tries so hard and is always 'on' comes off as a bit desperate.
I prefer the seduction of women like Charlotte Rampling, Emmanuelle Seigner, Angelina Jolie, Ursula Andress, Natasha McHelhone or Anna Mouglalis.
Don't get me wrong, I think she's very beautiful and has undeniable charm, but her appeal is limited for me: she is girlish and I like women, if you see what I mean.
