ddohnggo, they are like his take on mortorcycle kind of boots.
but not so chunky. with cap toe.
you'd buckle up four times.
the buckles placed in the front don't look gaudy.
the hardware is done nicely as usual.

i got to see the overlock leather jacket in grey...
it is really an incredible piece of work...

it looks a bit like frankenstein..
def with a tim burton mood...(as runner said about the boots)

it's not the sort of thing you easily forget......

sounds great softgrey. any idea where your friend purchased it? i haven't seen the overlock jacket in grey.

atelier also received new ccp items. from what i hear: gloves, fishtail long coat, long formal coat, jointed boots, etc...

pretty sure it was purchased in paris...


the grey is a MILLION times better than the brown imho...
it's all beaten up...and the scratch marks are sort of white-ish...
so it sort of looks 'chalk-y'...if that makes sense...
and it's sort of greenish too...

i'm pretty sure it's just plastic tape on those particular pieces. poell has been using tape seams for quite a long time now, and i know he has tried a few different types, usually on un/half-lined garments.

its a certain type of rubbery feeling tape, plastic anyways, not leather or anything.

I tried on the jointed blazer posted on the last page, awesome piece but also quite rigid feeling because of the material, its cotton that feels like paper. I bought the jointed trousers which are a beautiful piece.

it was a gift yes...but not for any ocassion especially...
i have had it for a couple of months...
just didn't get around to taking a pic until now...

*my friends and i don't really follow any sort of traditional gift giving schedule i guess...
when you see something that reminds you of someone...that's the best time to buy a gift imo...
my poor friends never receive anything on their birthdays from me......
it's all very random...
it's always nice to receive a gift...no matter how big or how small it may be...but it's somehow nicer to me if it's not given out of obligation on designated days like birthdays, etc...
plus the element of surprise is lovely...
