I agree. Renee looked more like a healthy normal woman when she gained weight for Bridget Jones! I think she should kep some of the weight on! She looked adorable in the first Bridget Jones movie.

I much prefer her 'bigger' self, not just because it's refreshing to see on the screen a real female and not just her bones, but because it is to me the ultimate reminder that she is continually working because she makes sacrifices, takes risks and puts up with those insults, all for the sake of her art.

On the other hand, when you see how quick she loses the weight after the final cut, you really do wonder is it her metabolism or just her failing under the pressure to conform.

I think Renee looks fabulous with the extra weight. She looks TOO thin when she's thin...I think people have a normal set weight, and it just doesn't look right on her when she's as thin as a rail.
