Celine F/W 06.07 Paris

i was thinking that of course, i suppose it has other things going for it...maybe the quality's good....

and i secretly like the fur cowlneck:blush:

I wish my working closet is full of these...love them all and would wear them all!

For me Celine is something I'd wear if I was older - it's more of a 'ladies do lunch' kind of label. This collection is lovely - not something I would wear right now - something about the belts, the suits and even the sheer skirts - something v. structured and neat about it all that is not 'me' at all.

knowing of your style, susie, I doubt that you would wear them even when you were older :flower: luckily you have good height to carry your layering wtihout looking like the olsen twins.

gosh i love it. if i had the means i'd purchase the entire collection, with the exception of the high waisted leather skirt. i adore the gigantic doctor bags.

This collection is stunning! I will definitely need to buy some pieces from Celine now...:woot:

I didn't like all the pieces but a lot of it were great. These especially are delectable...

I loved most of the accessories..... The shoes, the bags..... *Sigh* :crush:

I am in love with Céline's sophistication now. Out with Micheal Kors, in with Roberto Menichetti! :D Very French bourgeois!

i love it...its so pretty and wearable. tho those last shoes look a lil too marc by marc jacobs..

Wow, I can't believe style.com trashed this collection. I thought it was (mostly) magnificent. I agree some of it looks a little odd for fall, but I've seen that at other shows this season as well.

Vogue had a very interesting global warming article recently that mentioned this ... I live in a warm climate & don't buy organza for fall, but it's great for summer here ... there's no way I can wear those heavy "couture" fabrics that Suzy and everyone say are the next big thing in 110 degrees ... OK, maybe I could but I'm not going to :p

I do though wear some of my spring pieces as layering pieces for fall.
