You should see my Ann Demeulemeester belt :brows:

I like chains. And I still like them on the rock/skater guys. I just think it looks stupid when worn along with spikes, zippers, studs, and grommets in one ensemble. Whoever does that needs to be whipped with a chain.

I would love to.

As requested (from the f/w 03-04, Twilight collection). There are actually 3 chains, different thickness and length, only two visible here.

The Stella chain looks are cool

Does anybody know where the wallet chain look came from in the first place? They had a huge surge 7 or 8 years ago, but I remember my grandfather having one way before that... ?

 Very nice. Thanks, Faust. I'd always wondered what it looked like.

welll i know it was big in the 50's...rock-a-billy/greasers...etc...

but even before that...it was being done by guys in the 30's who wore zoot suits...

it's partly functional and partly style...

that's all i know about where it came from...

Thanx, Alex.

I like it. I wear one with a boys' cut faded jeans that's rather baggy, with a white one button only blazer, a sheer black-blue cami under and flat black shoes.

I think that's what I'm becoming increasingly attracted to the chain belt thing, since I'm really enamoured with rock-a-billy at the moment. I've been keeping an eye out for a nice one...definitely a very cute statement, if done well. I like the look with boyish trousers too, as kimkhuu described.

I second that

I positively HATE it..so many guys do it with their wallets, thinking their cool as. Some girls even hang chains on their baggy baggy pants.

yes, I think it's similare to the pocket watch.

Depends on the chain, wallet chains however, not something I'd wear, but if you can pull it off... :)

Faust, if the satin thing is part of that belt, I must say, It's beautiful,
