Balbabe, the new cerf comes in pink and white too. I have the white It's not a stark white, rather it's a milky white.

Not to be an evil enabler, but you should get the cerf if you really like it. I LIKE it when I bought it and LOVE it now. Love it so much that my other bags (esp. my poor LV!) haven't been used as much.

I'm definitely getting the black one, but I'm going to wait until after I get my grey 2.55 re-issue. I don't want to give my hubby a coronary . I just got my first chanel yesterday and am absolutely in love with these bags .

It may look lackluster in the pic, but chiangsi it's STUNNING IRL . I didn't have high hopes for this bag going into the boutique, but it actually stole the show while I was there. I saw the brown with the "cc" closure which looked the size of a birkin (actually this bag is called chanel's birkin by the SA's) it was taller and shorter than the one JA is carrying in the pic. Then the SA pulled out the new cerf in black (was told it only comes in black and brown) which is shorter and longer, has no "cc" closure, although the closure is not pure silver it's more of a greyish, blackish silver and it's . If I didn't have my husband with me, I'd have walked out of the store with two bags yesterday .

Yup BalBabe, I saw the new cerf in real life and it was appealing in a total different way from the original cerf.

I just think that Jennifer A was definitely not doing any justice to the bag B)

Hey BalBabe, just to tempt you a bit more, the new cerf also comes in the larger size (same size as older version with gold ccs), but not all places carry the larger version, e.g., Neimans only carries the shorter version. You can get the taller one at any Chanel boutique

Hey BalBabe, just to tempt you a bit more, the new cerf also comes in the larger size (same size as older version with gold ccs), but not all places carry the larger version, e.g., Neimans only carries the shorter version. You can get the taller one at any Chanel boutique

The bag I saw looked large, it was larger, or actually longer, than the one with the cc's. I don't think I'd want it any larger as it was just perfect .

I've compared the original cc's with the new large and they were exactly the same size.

Yes, the bag with the gold cc's is shorter in length but taller. The new cerf is shorter in height but wider. God, am I making ANY sense .

Yes! The new large might be the same length/width but it is definitely shorter than the old one. I saw the one JA is pictured carrying a few pages back .
