Just curious, I have no opinion:

Does anyone think Lagerfeld was trying to go in a more youthful direction?
You know how the Lindsay Lohan rumour was swirling around - well, is Karl in a very 'young minded' marketing mode? Some of the dresses and styling reminded me of something very immature looking. So I thought this might be the reason for the collection being such a weird mish mash, and not like past collections..???

PS: I do realize Lohan is not going to be in a campaign - however, her and Lagerfeld did make a connection at some point this past year, so maybe he's been looking to young celeb muses for inspiration?

...and maybe that's why it's not very good...??

How can he replace Daria Werbowy even though I don't think she would do it next season with Lilo and Avril?

i think this is pretty good. a few misses. but overall a strong look and collection. i like all the floaty layers etc. i think it gives a nice new porportion to the classic chanel look. its obviously not the best collection so far, but its a pretty solid one.

on another note, very weak accessories imo

OK so I adore the venue .. would be a great place for a party by the looks of it

marmite ... ie. you'll either love it or hate it
Deja Vu ... seems like some of the stuff has been done before .. very 80's

Yeah, he was seen with Lindsay and she was wearing some Chanel but they asked him directly and he said "I prefer Daria's look..."

Avril showed up at the HC show and the same rumors started ( by her people, no doubt) but I never heard his thoughts...Avril did do the closing number at the Winter Olympics though in....Chanel...Hummmm!

One of the big reviews for this show said he was moving more towards a street/youth image with Chanel; how can you argue with him when people are standing in line around the world to throw money at him...B)
