I know some people might not like the way direction Karl has taken Chanel, but I totally disagree. This collection looks great, i love the croco purses and Coco Zen accessories especially. The cute red pump with the Chanel insignia on the heel, absolutely gorgeous.

Wow, I wonder how much the Coco Zen runs for, I want it so bad.

I cannot wait to see the full collection. The colorful houndstooth suit jackets look very interesting. OH KARL, I just love you.

That little Buddha thing happening is adorable. I have a feeling this collection is going to be very 80s, and Lagerfeld's 80s is a mash of acid and sequins.

Crakk, I don't know...I'm not liking it so far, but maybe it'll grow on me. Cruise 2007 is my favorite Chanel collection to-date, so I have very high expectations. So far it looks kind of dated.

Crakk, I don't know...I'm not liking it so far, but maybe it'll grow on me. Cruise 2007 is my favorite Chanel collection to-date, so I have very high expectations. So far it looks kind of dated.

Dated, really? Dated as in of another decade, or dated as in a creative bore and stale?

Well, I don't want to say stale, because I think that the 80's/90's are just Lagerfeld's aesthetic, but so far it doesn't look very relevant. (However, these are just a few pictures, so that could all change.)

these ARE the 2008 collections....i don't know how many times i need to keep saying it...cruise=spring.....spring 2008.....the catwalk shows that are coming up are summer .... summer 2008..... these are 2008 collections.....not 07-08.....wow....

^That's what I thought, but then I saw that both Dior and Feretti were listed as "07.08". I just wanted it change for the sake of making searching easier.

lately i have this current obsession with 80's pumps, chanel in the 80's and bright "orange-pink-red"... so it's very exciting to see those shoes combine all three!

The LA bag is cool...but highly tacky

Theres some nice bags too, and the shoes, I kind of like the Metallic bags too...in a funny kind of way...I think I need to see runway pics though before I judge

Shamelessly enough I really like that clearish quilted bag. Primarely because I love the handles on it. I'm excited to see this show. Did I just say that?
