Chloé S/S 2025 : Rianne van Rompaey by David Sims

It's a pity that she doesn't follow the the duo-girl casting, mostly from Phoebe. I think that's a quintessential Chloe DNA.
I can live without duos but I liked them too, it helped looking at Chloé as the quintessential girl's girl type of label. It still is and I love this campaign, the lightness of it all reminds me of one of my all-time favorite Chloé campaigns (Spring 2002 with Anne Vyalitsyna- solo casting, too), but adding one of the newcomers in the show (Stella Hanan or Mia Armstrong) would've made this a little bit more fresh.

And… Just like that… we are back in 2015, photoshop happy and all looking like some cheap Elle editorial.

It's nice, but it's like everything Chemena has been doing so far at Chloé: expected and seen before.

But what should she do? Change the DNA of the house?

Listen hun, only we on forums know the names of the designers, others don’t have clue. Clients only want DNA of the house. So… we can preach and preach but nobody listen. Let’s face it. We are fashion freaks and I am glad we at least have this platform.

It's not so much about changing the DNA. It's about giving continuity to a project, instead of giving us "blast from the past" constantly. I'm very aware as to why she was hired and they're basically trying to bring back Chloé to the good old days, hoping it'll translate into successful sales. But for the love of god, breathe some fresh air into the thing. It's not that deep, and not that hard. Just demands a bit of a vision that goes further than "what was that that worked before?".
