Chloe Sevigny | Page 147 | the Fashion Spot

Chloe Sevigny

Despite frizzy hair and eighties earrings, she still embodies hotness. Far out she is brilliant!

I don't mean to post twice but who's on the cover of I-D? I'd love to pick up that magazine, I'm still waiting to get my hands on the March Elle here in Aust!

the picture with Jarvis cocker is flipping funny.
the expression of three all of them is so compared each other.
sullen and unique...

That new shoot is awesome, thank you:flower:, I love that outfit with the blazer, floral bustier and denim shorts, only Chloe could make an early 90's look like that, look cool again!:woot:

T-SHIRT TROVE: Uniqlo's ongoing UT Project (UT stands for Uniqlo T-shirt) features designs created by artists, designers, musicians and photographers. More than 1,000 different designs exist and new ones are added each season. For the next installment, bowing in April, Uniqlo tapped the art of Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat, two artists who died tragically young. Uniqlo is reproducing their art under a licensing agreement with the artists' estates. There will be about a dozen different designs from each, with prices starting at $15.50. Markus Kiersztan, creative director at MP Creative, Uniqlo's marketing and advertising company, chose Chloë Sevigny to appear in the women's ad campaign for UT Project, and Tadanobu Asano, a young Japanese film star, for the men's. The two also were photographed together in ads, which will be used in wildpostings, a type of viral guerrilla-style image campaign, as well as full pages in several magazines. The company is recording its T-shirt designs for a cultural data base and also has asked artists worldwide to submit designs for possible T-shirts.

I could be wrong about this so me posting about it could be a waste of time, but I'm pretty sure I'm right so I'm posting this anyway. According to Nylon magazine's official Facebook group, the April cover girl is a style icon with a tv show, clothing line and perfume campaign. That sounds like Chloe to me.

I can't believe how old Chloe is !!!! I thought she was like 22!!  :innocent:

She looks so good for her age

Chloë's really becoming more and more famous..
Two years ago all people would do was bash her for her style, and now everyone's celebrating it.

i think the fashion community has lauded her sense of style for years now..

she wore a lot of ysl when tom ford was designing if i remember correctly and always made daring and unusual choices...

i think people are still catching on, and many would still label her as more of a fashion victim (she's frequently featured on the blog gofugyourself)

Yesh, but the fashion community is something different than the rest of the population .. the latter will probably keep calling her a ridiculous trend victim for as long as the same stylist-clad stars make the best-dressed lists ..

Who cares what the masses think. If they can't appreciate people like Chloe, it's their huge loss. They'll never get it anyway because they care more about fashion than actual style (and actually having an actual personality come across in one's outfits). Unless people are really into it, they'll always pick safe people as their choices. People like Chloe made me start thinking that if I had to be judged, I would never ever stick to what will for sure get me on best dressed lists. It's boring to please the type of people who care about those things.

^Exactly .. I agree with everything you said .. it's about the personality; what she wear always looks like something Chloe would wear. I think she once said in an interview that a trait she is proud of is her integrity and that is definitely true!

I love the pictures from Post 2921. She is simply devine!!!!!!!!!! She manages to look hot in everything...her personality stands out and the clothes don´t wear her.

Yeah I think it goes without saying that there's no significance in "best dressed lists". Absolutely no creativity involved.. and normally depends on how "polished" someone looks in a designer gown. Who cares.

Totally agree with what you guys are saying! Makes me feel like there's hope in the (fashion) world with people like you (and Chloe of course) around!

I agree with what you guys are saying, looking at what Chloe wears really makes me braver to try new ideas and push the boundaries a bit.
