Chloe Sevigny

she would have looked sooo good if it weren't for those disgustingly ugly Bai-Ling style shoes. puke-fest

I actually like the shoes, it keeps it from being too conventional
Likewise. Chloe often wears things I don't like with an individuality I admire, which (it must be stressed) most of Hollywood lacks. If she'd christened a dress I love with her individualistic touch, that would have been the ultimate, but you can't win them all. (No doubt a very appropriate figure of speech for an awards show...) ^_^

love the dress....shoes are okay.if they were just plain silver choo strappy sandals,it wouldnt be a chloe look:)
but still i expected to see her in something different, color maybe

She said this was a last minute or backup choice because she had a dress custom made in Paris but it didn't fit right...wonder what her original dress was like?

#1408 is a really unflattering shot of her... she looks brutal there :(
The print of the dress is ok, but I personally don't like the one-shoulder-grecian-style-with-huge-slit idea of it, and it's as if it isn't even properly fitting her. At the top it is sort of baggy.
The shoes are just :ninja:
I usually like her fashion style, but this really doesn't look good to me.

I have to say this is a red-carpet disappointment - even if it is the back-up dress

This was actually one of my favorite looks of the night. Chloe always puts her own spin on things and I love her for it. I thought this vintage YSL was gorgeous and the shoes were such a cool touch that only Chloe would dare pull off!!

i think she could have done better overall with her look last night.. didn't really blow me away

i like that she tried something unconventional, but like many of you, i didn't like the shoes... their height makes the dress look too short and the neckline of the dress isn't too flattering either... makes it looks like she tied a blanket around her body

i think she did try to tone it down a bit for the golden globes. this dress doesn't seem too unconventional to me, the shoes yes, but both are just akward. it comes across as being funky, where funky wouldn't be a word i would use to describe her style. different, but not "funky." i would love to see what her first choice looked like. im sure much better ^_^ ;)

It could have been worse and yes Ive seen better on her. Maybe its just me when she dresses for international shows like the film festivals and premieres- she looks better.
I remember her Oscar dress back in 2000 and it was a black Yves San Laurent..guess she's sticking with what she knows. Really curious about the original dress.
She either wears her dresses too long or too short. But the trend last night was long dresses- which is a shame becos of her awesome legs. Maybe would have worked if she would have chose a dress like Reese's or Sarah Jessica's but at the right length. The dress she did wear would have worked better if it was one color and better heels. But then again its Chloe..hehe
