Chloe 'Silverado' Bag

I am sorry to hear that bagqueen. Was this the cognac leather Silverado that was on the BG site a couple of weeks ago? I almost ordered it, then decided to wait and go with Nordstrom. Try Nordstrom if you decide to try again; I am very happy with my cognac Silverado! It really makes you wonder if the people in the Shipping department can see clearly!

is all silverado comes with a cell phone pocket inside the bag or not? I found some have and some dont.. a bit confuse..

I have a bronze that I purchased from Nordstrom and it has a cell phone pocket inside opposite the zipper pocket but I'm not sure about other silverados.

I think the newer silverados have the cell phone pocket. I recently got one from the spring collection and one from the fall collection and only the latter had the cell phone pocket. Sadly, both bags went back.

As far as I know, the Silverado Tote doesn't come in python. But besides the old small, medium and large regular style Silverado's, the new Doctor's bag style Silverado (in both a medium and large size) are coming in python. The Doctor's bag style still zips at the top - the Silverado Tote does not.

Is this the medium leather Silverado? (Sort of a lovely terracotta color?)

If so, we are bag twins, as I also have this bag. It is lovely, I haven't worn it much because I had been a bit worried about it getting wet and such (it had been raining), but it seems like such a good sturdy leather, I should just go for it, no?

My silverado is a fairly bright, dark red color. I love it. I broke it out and am determined to get as much wear as possible. Hasn't rained in Southern California lately, so I am fortunate in that regard! I expect to receive a python silverado in the post next week...hope I enjoy as much as the leather! I say go for it...bags were meant to be used, no "museum or look-at" pieces for me!

I suggest u get the bronze one cuz I think u will get more wear out of it.. the bronze has a silver shimmer/tint to it so u can match it with more colors IMO.. I am sure u wil ur first chloe bag.. Good Luck

Need advice...I have been having problems wearing my Chloe bags with denim (red silverado and cream paddington hobo). They get dark blue/black marks on the back... Denim is well worn, washed, so dye is not "new"... Do any of you wear your pythons with demin? Do you get these marks? I am expecting a python in the post this week and am now unsure about wear... I have never had this issue before...

The pictures look real - seller's problem is her location. Hard to trust someone in the Phillipines, although its possible she really did go overboard when she was in the states or Europe and now has lots of cc bills.

I received both and returned the bronze being it was severely damaged, but I kept the silver and just love it. It is not silver like you think. It has bronze and a copper color also going through it so it looks more matte. SIde to side I loved this one the best and was glad this was not damaged like the bronze one. bagqueen, Do you do anything special to protect the python before wearning? I recently bought a Fendi Spy, would the appleguard also work on this? Thanks for your advice!

I do not spray the python because I was not sure if you could or not. I have a Fendi spy bag that I did also spray with the appleguard and it worked great.

In post #2126, style101 informed that the Doctor Silverados would be coming out in Python. The ebay item you posted looks good. Thought the leather one was nice but the python one is even better .

I've quite liked the Doctor, despite many discouraging comments from those who have seen it IRL . Saw a Chloe ad in some magazine of the leather Doctor bag with the bag on the shoulder of the model who, with the typically skinny arms could put the short handles over her shoulders . The huge leather bag was juxtaposed against a typically flowy feminine outfit on the model. The "hard & tough bag against softer, more feminine clothes" is so typically characteristic of Chloe.
