I just ordered the python silverado in pewter . It will come in mid April.. I am really excited.. Has anyone seen the color? what do you think of it? I wasn't much of a fan of the gold python but I think pewter will be funky.

is this the rose? I think it's hideous. I even considered posting it on the "ugliest bag" thread but I didn't want to cause an uproar (how dare I criticize Chloe!) but I noticed this bag was re-posted several times on eBay before it sold so I guess I'm not alone.

This is from eons ago, but nope, I don't think this is the rose color. Rose is what's on Net a porter--it's a lighter, peachier thing.

I don't know what this fuschia monstrosity is called, but I'm willing to bet it's not rose.

ETA: I just checked on Leshent's auction and it confirmed that this is in fact the rose color. However, I'd double-check with luisaviaroma because sometimes they list the wrong colors for some things.

Need some advise....on Colour & Size for the new Silverados available...

Gold python or Brown python? Or Black?
- Have always wanted a Gold bag!!! What could be more luxurious than a Gold Python Silverado, which is subtle and glittery? Thanks to pucci_mama who has actually seen the bag, the gold is supposedly subtle and not glittery! But it is currently available only in the Large
- The new Brown is not as attractive as the previous one.
- Black seems to be less attractive but a safe option....

Medium is obviously a good size. Is Kirsten Dunst's Brown one, the Large or Medium? If it is the large, it looks good on her petite physique. If I go for the Large Gold would it be too big? I'm only 5'3" and a devotee of small to medium sized bags. However the Large Gold just seems so appealingly luxe!! :

Wish I could see and feel the bags with own eyes & hands!!!!

I am still not sure about whether I should go ahead and bid for the large silverado. The only really attractive thing is that it is the original brown and that's not being made anymore.

Of course the price has also been jacked up and I will be really so mad if the bag is not authentic!!
For those gals who had the original brown bag, may I know where does the brand "Chloe" appears on the bag? And how do the zippers look like?

I have examined the photos she has sent me, but I don't see the brand "Chloe" around..thought of course that is not the best test of authenticity....
Any other tips on how to determine the authenticity of the bag is much appreciated!!

baghag21, of the three I think you should go for either brown, or gold.

Black is offcource the safest colour. But, when it comes to buying such an expensive nag, don't you want a something a little extra about it?

It is really luxe lovely bag! Even though is gold, I still think it's classic.

Kirsten Dunst size is the medium one.

I am one for big bags, even though I am petite.. makes a great impact

But if you want it, you should move sooo fast, it won't be availeble for long.

Chloe is stamped on the zippers, the leather around the inside pocket and also the little leather strap for closing the bag on the outside

I'm very new to this forum just joint over the weekend. I've been reading all the comment about this cool bag but I'm leavint in Australia where it's quite difficult to get a list of the boutiques that stock this bag.

Any idea or suggestion for me to try where to get one... love the original phyton dark brown...

I love, love, love the Gold!! Is that the Large? It seems to look so much more fabulously luxurious in the Large!!! I can imagine if I had that bag, it'll probably never see much of daylight!!!

Problem is I am in Asia. Am trying to figure out how to get the bag from Paris, where it would be cheaper. It is more challenging when I've not seen the bag and at that price, it is hard to just close the eyes and buy over the phone! But I want it so, so, so much....
