Um....no, cause I don't use certain bags when it's raining and that's one of them! I'm just careful where I set it and am very careful of the scales. Some will get bent after a while and that's okay - they're not going to fall off - but I am careful about bumping it into things as I'm carrying it. Waterproofing can discolor a leather or skin unevenly and once it's done....it's done, so I never do it. This is a fairly sturdy bag and can be used for an everyday bag if you're just a little careful. I don't overload mine so that the sides are bulging out - but I can get a lot in there without overloading it. I think they just get better over time, the leather and skin will age, turn darker and richer and you'll love it more and more!!
I am so happy for you - you deserve a really great bag and THAT is a great bag!!

I just found this large python silverado being listed in ebay under item number: 6752085054Does anyone have any idea if it is the real deal?
I am really suspcious because the item comes from Hong Kong, the pictures may not be that of the actual bag and the wording used could very well be for an authentic replica.

I think mushroom_city is a reliable seller but you need to satisfy yourself that she is trustworthy. but that bag is currently at nearly $3000 with 8 days left!! I suggest you don't bid (why -- it just raises the price) and check in near the end. I guarantee there will be a bidding frenzy. just go into it knowing what your max price will be otherwise you'll certainly have buyer's remorse. FYI, a similar bag recently sold at $5,300 (!!!) and the bidder clearly suffered sticker shock because she didn't go through with it.

I always thought that Christian Dior authenticity cards were meant to be printed in black not gold "Chrstian Dior"? That seller mushroom_city has a odd looking authenticity card with that Dior wallet on sale.
I know people told me already they are genuine a seller but im just wondering.

my card is white with silver writing. anyway, I'd prefer if this seller were "outed" as selling fakes but I'd like some better reasons than she sells so much stuff or vague concerns about the color of the card. and the silverado looks good to me.

The seller mushroom_city IS indeed a VERY reputable seller!!! I bought an authentic Chloe from her and she also sells authentic Balenciaga, although she does tend to sell current season colors. She has a bright pink City for sale for almost $1500 and you can order one from the boutique for $950 (I think or a little over $1000) which I did cause I saw her auction and it made me want a hot pink for summer. I'll get mine within 2 weeks and for a lot less than she is asking.

Im just suspicious of her Dior authenticity card..the ones with gold print are usually fake,unless there ARE actually real Dior authenticity cards with gold print on them. Also, she is from Hong Kong and they are well known for fake stuff. Im not going to buy from her anyway.

Just FYI, she may be in Hong Kong, but I received my bag in 3 days!!! She gave really great service!! I am not as familiar with Marni, so I cannot attest to authenticity, but the Chloe I have is very real and I know Balenciaga experts agree she sells only authentic Balenciaga. Yeah, it's scary buying items over $1000-$3000 from an out-of-the-states Ebay seller!! I've been really lucky and have gotten great bags and fast shipping from all the sellers I've dealt with, but I try to get trustworthy recommendations first.
