Chloe 'Silverado' Bag

I received the cognac and the bronze python bags I ordered from Neimans today. I was not that excited about either of them. I went to my store by me to return them and they just received a shipment of python bags and one of them I fell in love with. I purchased it and returned the other ones. It is chocolate brown with lighter python. I just love it..... It is not shiny, it is matte. I was not crazy about the whole shiny thing on the bronze python. It is beautiful, but not me.

hi,could you please help me?i also would like to but the same bag on ebay,but everyone says,that there are so many fake chloe on ebay,so i'm not sure.Also i heard ,that authentic python chloe bag doesn't have "chloe"written on the front clasp.Does your bag have it?have a nice weekend

Yes, I was wondering that too... From the pics I have seen in this forum, a lot of the python silverados seem to have Chloé engraved on the front strap (the one that closes the bag). Could any of you lucky owners of authentic python silverado's please help me out? Also, does the bag have a serial tag in the inner pocket? What about "Chloé Made in Italy" on the zipper pocket?

sure, but the existence or absence of a chloe stamp is not going to be determinative. the python fakes are pretty easy to spot because of the leather-stamped-to-look-like-python.

The python skin looks very flat almost like embross leather and the colour is wrong they've try to copy the original cognac brown but it nowhere close to the real thing.

Plus one more thing, for those silveradoes that have "Chloe" stamped on their strap, the size of the the word is much smaller than the one in post 1849.

How can I tell if one is fake or not when buying online? Based on the other pics I have seen, this one is not flat - it has "scales."

I am so sorry to keep doing this, but I have NO IDEA how to find out if I am buying the real deal! I got a friend who owns the large python bag to check this things out, but she isn't sure... Thank you so much for all your help!!!
