Ok...maybe I'm just crazy, but I ordered the meduim Fendi Spy today, and am on the short waitlist for the Paddington (I'm like #15) at Chloe Manhattan. Meanwhile I'm carrying the python Silverado or a Bottega V criss/cross strap and stud bag (gift from wonderful DH). Good grief, I'm definitely a bagaholic!!!But I buy them because I love them! I've been working my bazooka off for 30 years to be in a position to have this kind of discretionary income, so I feel no remorse about loving my bags :-)

me too! I'm carrying the Mulberry Roxanne and woven Bottega hobo, have ordered the Fendi Spy (which color did you get?) and am searching for a cream Paddington as though my life depends on it. my philosophy is that life is too short to not have all the fabulous bags you can get! and who knows, next season logos might be back in and I won't want anything (I hope!)

Hi meeyowsa and Orchidlady!! Two women I can relate to!!! I just ordered the small lamb Fendi Spy in camel from NM (I just wanted a smaller bag). I love my black and cream Paddingtons, and I've been carrying my Balenciaga sky blue Classique and my brown python Silverado. This spring, I will be carrying my pink ostrich Celine boogie, Celine oriental hand painted yellow/green boogie, a Balenciaga Classique in lime green (and the blue one, too) and for fun, my Chloe pink and gold bracelet bag. I'm a grandma, worked my butt off, take care of my sweet 3 yr. old grandson and I know I deserve good bags and shoes. We girls deserve the finer things!!!! Hey....Isn't it women's day today or something??? Oh well, WE know we don't need a special day to treat ourselves to something special!!

I didn't think there was a small -- just medium and large.

anyway handbagbabe, you are so lucky! how did you get two paddingtons and can I have one??

Yes, there is a small spy bag. It's on the Neiman Marcus website, but it's more expensive because it's in the lamb ($2120) and the only color they have is camel, but it looks like a yummy shade. It's preorder for delivery in the first week of April.

Hey meeyowsa, if you lived near me, you could borrow a Paddington anytime People have commented that it's too slouchy or wrinkled, but mine aren't wrinkled at all and slouchy is why I bought the Paddington. It's such a luxe, heavy leather, like a piece of luggage and so relaxed and easy looking. I love 'em!!!

according to the Fendi boutique there is a medium and large (no small) and the medium is about 17" across. I don't know what the deal is with the bags on the NM site, but I've found the dimensions are often inaccurate (and since the reps don't have the bags in front of them they can't give any additional info). sorry for jacking this thread!

ps if you bring your paddington to california we can talk.

Hey Handbagbabe...a woman after my own heart!!! I've been considering the Celine ostrich boogie, but the handle drop is just a little too short. ( I saw/held one in NYC at Celine, and just could not make up my mind...for $3000, I figured I'd give it some thought.) What do you think? Does it work for you? Meanwhile I ordered the "small" Fendi Spy from NM and chastised them for not having the dimensions on the website for a bag that costs as much as this does. Seems as if this would be a no-brainer for them, but they have never had the size listed for the ostrich boogie, despite my having written to them last summer about the same issue. Maybe I'm just picky, but I think we have the right to know the size of the bag we're buying :-)

Hi Orchidlady....we seem to have very similiar tastes!!! Yeah, the ostrich has a short handle, but I just love the shape of the bag, it's not HUGE, the pink color is to die for and I just love the feel of the ostrich leather!!
I ordered the "small" Fendi, too I have also called NM to beg for dimensions on their site. This small Fendi is huge, and it turns out to be the medium after all???? I agree, we need to know exactly what we're buying.
