I got it on eBay, but from a reputable seller so I know it's real... I just love the bronze oh so much, I dont know which I like better. I went with the brown becuase I think it's more versatile.

Great bags and pictures! Are you taking a picture of yourself in the mirror? If so, you have good aim. What do you think about the blue python? Is it too blue? I think it looks nice, but I've never seen one IRL.

yes those are self-portraits. I have many talents. the blue isn't too blue per se and is actually much nicer than I thought it would be (I expected a bright cobalt blue). the leather part is a nice deep denim blue. the problems I have are working blue into my wardrobe (it's not as complimentary to neutral shades as say red or green, IMO) and I don't think the silverado styling and python skin look as nice in a crayola color as in more natural colors (I know, bronze is hardly natural, but it showcases the python skin better). the blue python skin looks a little painted.

Lilygirl... Are you deciding between the Bronze & Indigo?

I've finally received my Gold one last week...PHEW!! And I love love love ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!! It is more bling than I've expected but I still love it!!! Now I needs me another ones of these fabulous bags!!!! Still lusting after a Large one... Will have to be from Spring-Summer 2006 though as I just got myself a Birkin !!! Speaking of SS 2006, has anyone heard anything about the season's colours? May be only after the shows eh....

Are you planning to have them both? So you would have 3 same style bag in different colours. I do too if it the bag that I really like then I would get in different colour
I passed on the bronze last Sat coz the python skin is a bit too zzzing for me it's nice but it's not for me. I only can see myself using it with the casual outfits I thought I would get another one judging from picture of rachel zoe but decided to passed it on.

no, the blue is going back. I like the bronze much more than I expected and I think it will work with my tailored, somewhat conservative wardrobe nicely. and even though it's dark brown, the "zing" (as you put it) of the bronze I think makes it look fine with black (one of my bugaboos). and if I keep it, I won't have three or even two -- I officially gifted my brown to a GF who I love dearly and is going through hard times (and who has lent me many bags, including a gucci hobo that I've had for months).

Between the two I prefer the bronze that's why didn't comment on the blue coz I don't like it at all.

I know this has been discussed before but can someone please clarify if the "Chloe" emboss on the strap, as per shown in Guessgirl96's two-tone brown Silverado, is a new recent feature to the bag? My Gold Python does not have the Chloe emboss and it came from Chloe New York....

Thanks for your thoughts on the blue. I feel the same way, its nice, but too expensive to be an experimental bag that you can only use every now and then. Who knows, maybe they will be on a sale table around the holidays!

Hmm...baghag, mine does have the word "Chloe" embossed on the strap which runs across the bag and I think we probably both got our gold around the same time.

Similarly my maroon also has the word Chloe on it.
