what are the colours of the silverado this season?

The leather comes in Tan, Terracotta Red, Chocolate Brown, Grey, Black and a very interesting kind of dark Army Greenish/Grey color.

The python comes in Bronze, Silver, Tan, Blue, Camel, Brown, Green and Black.

Some of the pythons haven't arrived in stores yet, so it's hard to know exactly what the colors will look like.

I was wondering how python skin responds to water? I imagine the scales might puff up, so I think I could be extra careful to not get caught in the rain with it. I'm not really sure though, so I would love to heat from someone thats a little more experienced

I'd love to know the answer to this too, especially since the Chloe boutique specifically says not to treat the python with anything. I'm hoping I never find out the hard way about the water issue

i saw some leather silverados at century 21 for like $400 in NY a few months ago (red, black, brown), and imo it's not really that outstanding unless you go with the python. but that's the prob. cause those are going for close to 2 grand right?

I have the silver python and it had held up great! The python is very flat so it does not 'peel' like other pythons. (I had to be much more careful with my devi kroell because the scales were not as flat on the bag) I have gotten the bag a little wet (running from the car to indoors in the rain) and have not noticed any wear or discoloration. I have been very impressed at how well it has held up.

Have seen the Python in Red too. The red is probably the same shade as the leather one i.e. Terracotta Red!!

I love the silverados!!! Not sure about it's staying power but I think it'll definitely be around for more than 3 seasons...this is the 3rd season of it's existence. Have to wait for the next season for a much, much, much wanted Large Python silverado...my bag budget has been majorly busted and I'm still waiting for a Chanel 2.55 reissue!! Still love the silverados and still will continue to drool over them and dream of them...

not very I'll bet. the last time they got leather silverados they were available for a looong time.

I've been eyeing the Bronze python silverado. NM listed it and is already sold out. Is it real python skin? Is it metalic looking in person like in the photo?

My husband saw me looking at it on line and said I need to be on a handbag budget.

I have the bronze and pewter pythons - both are considered metallic and they are but not so blingy they can't be used for everyday workwear (and jeans) colors. The gold was more of a bling color (I have that as well so I can compare in real life terms). I plan to use the bronze and pewter pythons as easily as my Paddingtons or Balenciagas, ig that helps . They are REAL python BTW.

The two-tone was a colour for the spring collection and is practically sold out now.

Try calling all Chloe' stores or Neimans..but I seriously doubt the chances of locating one.

century 21 is a well known NYC store that has off season merch. But even for $400 I'm not a huge fan of the leather ones. They are a bit plain, but maybe the red and black ones don't have the same hippy vibe as the brown ones in leather.

Yes. In one of the SATC Season 6 episodes, Carrie was in Century 21 idling time away while waiting for jury duty and Big called her mobile while she was perusing the wares of seasons pass...

I wouldn't mind a leather silverado for USD400 but definately not in black...

klow....your bag is divine!!! I saw a HK tourist using it while out shopping one day in town. My good friend *who's a guy* was with me and he spotted it first ! I was just ogling at her bag rather than on the racks of clothes. Kept telling my friend to go thump her and grab the bag...

I hope Chloe' will produce more nice colour for the next season so we could get our hand on a nice large one.B)
