He finally got rid of those boring court pumps and put some eye catching platform shoes. This is more in line with his last collection for Jil Sander ,esp the jumpsuits/wide leg pieces. A definite improvement.

I truly believe that Raf does the best pre-fall collections.

For me this is his best collection since he's been at Dior. The outerwear is gorgeous and I love that knitted dress in the 3rd pic in post #12. The suiting is also really successful and his tailoring is impeccable. I'm still not convinced that he knows how design a dress though. I think the knitted collars cheapened some of the looks, I think some interesting costume jewelry would have worked better.

Fantastic textures and fabrics, I could do without the pieces heavy on embellishments. This is great - cozy, understated and relaxed. The vamp and platform heels are even better this time.

This is really flawless, every single look is fantastic. Perfect fusion of Dior's glamour and Raf's creativity with fabrics and silhouettes.

I have been a hater of Raf Simons for Dior since the first HC collection, but this is a big improvement. F I N A L L Y, something fresher and surprising. Love the shoes and coats looking like capes.

Not sure about the green look inspired by the kaki bombers jacket.

I'm so bored with all the murals going on this season, what used to be exciting and controversial, now looks redundant and repugnant.

With that said I thought this was beautiful collection, especially the outerwear and the last look (even with the corny mural).

There are some really beautiful pieces scattered amongst some crap, the quality still needs to be worked on; this is one of the biggest names in fashion and they can't sew satin? Come on!
The collection is disjointed - there's a dress with an A4 print on it here, and a down jacket there, what's going on? But that slate satin drop-sleeve and that incredible blue/grey Persian lamb coat are sublime.

On a second closer look i'm truly loving everything minus the unnecessary prints (that cheapen the final looks, imo) and this dress http://postimg.org/image/eqjm2mpub/ that looks totally out of place and as if it just fell among the others by mistake

i totally concur with the unnecessary prints. that flight jacket (i think that's what they are called), especially!

obviously this is a more condensed,refined version of dior but i enjoy the fact that he's retained his sense of architecture and some of his more graphic inclinations….it says raf simons designs this dior but still working around the foundation of the house. it's really strong. i like the printed looks myself.
