the end.

the entire couture show could have began and ended with those jackets and i would have died happy. the amount of workmanship put into those jackets and the ridiculously extravagant materials from which he has made them make me honestly shed a tear -- crying for beauty like that tom ford gucci show with the rose petals falling -- they are so beautiful and precious!

and it's the mark of a truly accomplished couturier that he can step back from color -- when color's his signature and his genius -- and still create things so delicious and singular.

I love it! It's part Romantic poet, part vampire, part medieval, part Dickens and part vampire - and all beautiful! What's not to love? And my God, Lily's dress is utterly breathtaking. I'm not a really a fan of Lily, but she looks fantastic here; so creepy and beautiful in a way that reminds me of a sinister medieval princess from a Keats' poem mixed with Miss Havisham. Wonderful.

Also, I might be in a minority here, but I really like the hair. I think it goes fantastically, and you couldn't have understated coiffures and makeup with such flamboyant outfits. Gah, I love it! Long live couture, especially when it is this good!
