Christian Louboutin Clichy pump

So has anyone been in the NYC Louboutin lately? Do they still have clichy pumps? I LOVE the white/blue striped that someone posted.

They look like they'd be hard to wear. I might try them, for the right occassion but they are really just OK in my opinion and not pretty enough, too plain. If I saw somebody with them on, I'd probably think she was just trying to look taller and nothing more. They look more like stilts than stilettos.

neimanmarcus.com has the seersucker ones now, but with the wimpy 4" heel :P

I like the flats alot... alot more than the four inchers... and I don't like the bow on the striped heels... it looks cheap... ugh...

net-a-porter.com used to have the pigalle (i remember it in black leather and in leopard print pony hair)... you might want to try there to see if they still have it, it might be on sale now

Thanks Brian.

Net-A-Porter don't have them on thir web site, but I shall fire off an Email to them.

mycatwalk.com.au now has the clichys (95mm/4" version) in baby pink and blue!! :buzz:

In my opinion they look kinda boring(and tacky)with 4. It is the set back straight 5 inch one which makes the shoe exeptional sophisticated and "couture"ish

The 5" is certainly a clear winner over the 4" - but baby blue and pink don't do it for me!

i second this!

Didn't see them in Saks last night, Brian...

i was going to check in with my sa at the shoe dept. in saks last week, but i didn't get the chance to. [/QUOTE]

Brian -- I was in the Saks at Northstar last night (April 26) to look for some Louboutin wedges, and I didn't see your shoes. In fact, their Louboutin collection seemed pretty skimpy. But you can always ask the salespeople. Sometimes they have things in the back that they haven't put out, yet.

Great shoes, though. Myself, I'm in search of either some Louboutin wedges, or this killer pair of Jimmy Choos I almost bought on Yoox last night (black leather strappy uppers, with butterfly design, stacked wooden wedge with inlaid black butterfly design on back). I looked again today and of course, they're gone. DOH!!!

Your fellow S.A. shoe fanatic...

sucks that they never got in the clichys, not that i expected them to...especially the 5" version...i might go over there to see if i can get them ordered, though.

i agree... but there's something about the 4" version that i do like...they look more cutesy, whereas the 5" version has something more edgy and sexual about it.

Somos de San Antonio!

Ooooo...you can have Saks ORDER shoes for you??? ...:woot: I didn't think of that.

See -- I'm such a newbie. My biggest problem is that by the time I see something I love and miss my opportunity to get it, it's on ebay or yoox or bluefly, and so I'm not sure that the shoe is from the current season anymore.

Maybe I'll ask if they can hunt down those Choo wedges for me. Of course, it'll hurt a lot more to pay regular price than if I'd just bought the silly things on yoox last night for $300.

And HOORAY for San Antonio!!! Great town!
