personally i would indeed go for the nude as i find it such a beautiful shade in summer and it goes just as much with anything as black does. .. if not with more... also as it is such an important and strong shoe it is nice to keep the colour more subtle

I'm really silly because I have 9 pairs of Louboutins and they're all purple or black. It's just a silly unwritten rule I've always had because purple has always been my favourite colour and black Louboutins are such a classic look. I guess this style is less of a classic look (unlike their patent pumps for example) so maybe I need to stop thinking quite so much about it and just take your advice!!

Did anyone else check out the sample sale at Gilt? They had a lot of great basics, but they weren't reduced as much as i expected. You get get better deals on sale at Barneys.

The Gilt selection sucked. You can get some better prices on ebay, even.
