I'm not sure if these have been posted here yet but in case they haven't -
Adona sandals from, I think, spring/summer 2009 (found at saksfifthavenue).

I'm currently saving up for a pair of Louboutins. I have no idea how long it will take me, but eeh.. lol

Ooh, good luck Frostelized, hope it won't take too long. Do you know what style you're going to buy yet?

BTW, I have loved some of the new Louboutin styles we've seen from Fashion Month so far. I loved the slouchy boots in Todd Lynn (Guerriere), the chiffon booties (Canon), booties (Loubout) and boots (Altabouton) from Mary Katrantzou. I think the Canon and Todd Lynn boots in particular are gonna be must-buys for me.

My patent black YoYos!

dior*kiss, nice look!
Here's something that I wouldn't mind adding to my wardrobe. (from saksfifthavenue)

Thanks!

I'm hoping it will take around 2 to 2 1/2 months...

I have a couple of picks, but since I'm not sure if they'll be around by the time I can afford them, my hopes aren't going to be upped too much and I'll probably end up having to get another pair entirely. But, if my picks go on sale before then, then I might be able to get one of these afterall... fingers crossed!

Glitter slingbacks, $745 from bergdorfgoodman.com

greissimo, $676 from shopsavannahs.com
I'm really surprised at this price. I thought these shoes would be a little higher...

straratata, $949 from mytheresa.com

Out of those three, I like the greissimo's. They're really cute and girly, but still have a strong professional appeal to them. Plus, they're the cheapest! lol

i'd go for the first or second pair. it also depends on your style. i reall like the 2nd pair but i dont know if i'd have many things to wear them with

the greissimo ones are great ! They're fairly priced... I wouldn't mind a pair of those :)

Second pair gets my vote too. Although if you're only going to get one pair it's worth exploring the classic patent black Louboutins like Pigalle or Declics :flower:

Great feedback guys. Thanks :flower: :flower:

I really like the bold designs that really stand out. The heels I currently have vary a lot... I have some that are really cute and girly, some that are rocker chic, then some that are ridiculously sexy, then some very business-like...

For the middle striped pair, I figured solid colors would look best, like a white pencil skirt with nude silk top, red cropped pants with white blouse...

Rosalynn: I was thinking of getting a nice basic pair because you can wear them with any and everything, but I figured I could just get a cheaper basic classic black heel. If I was going to spend almost a grand, might as well go big, right? lol But I'll definately check those two out :D

Yes, that middle pair is really nice. Like the colours/pattern and love the shape.

My theory with Louboutins is that if you can only buy one pair, to buy a classic as you can wear them with literally anything and you'd get a lot of wear out of them like you say - a great investment buy and totally timeless.

I see what you mean about going big, but in my opinion there's few shoes that make as big a statement as the Pigalle - I know people look for different things in shoes though :flower:

Just finished googling your choices: I like the Declics, they are basic, everyday chic. I'd need to try them on, because I have a skinny heel, so my foot tends to pop out of pumps. The pigelles are nice as well, but I've never been a fan of pointy-toes.

Do you know of any basic Louboutins have that a strap and/or a 4+ inch heel? I'm 5'0'' so the higher, the better!

Browse through the Loubie threads. You'll find a few with straps.

I want to splurge on a pair of Loubs. Do any of you have the Pigalle? How comfortable are they?

What better to splurge on than a pair of Louboutins?! The Pigalle I have to say isn't the most comfortable, they're OK, but more event shoes as opposed to all-rounders, although it depends on what height you get (I have 120mm). My favourite wear anywhere Louboutin is the Hyper Prive, they're tall and incredibly comfortable, but the best way to find out is to go to a boutique and try a few on :flower:

Oh, okay, that is something good to keep in mind. I live about 2 hours away from anywhere that sells Loubs, but I will definitely give the Hyper Prive a try, too! Thanks. :)

Yeah, it all depends what you want from the shoe. I mean I wear my HPs to work, at the weekends, to parties - they're great. But few things come close to the feeling of wearing Pigalles.

Two hours is a small distance to travel for a dream pair of shoes :)

I was in New York earlier this week and shopped at both Louboutin stores and it was amazing. I felt like i died and went to shoe heaven. I bought 2 new pairs of Pumps. First I got a new pair of nude patent Pigellas, and then I got a pair of silver Fifi's. I have never seen the fifi model and they are wonderful, with gteat toe cleavage. Has anyone seen or heard of these yet? I will try to take some phot's in the next few days and post then this week.
