Are the Clichys still in sale existence?

I always thought they were the ultimate heels.

they were in production till a couple seasons ago but still were extremely rare to find. i havent seen them in the louboutin boutiques last time i was in nyc, so i guess they now only sell them by special order. there's a similiar style now that's called the lady lynch but they're not as perfect. i agree with you, i've always thought they were the perfect pump.

is the lady lynch the same as the lady paige but without the ruffle? I think the shape of the lady paige is beautiful...

Now see, I would have said Elias just because it is a bit different and more of an almond toe instead of rounded.

Oh well.

no the lady lynch is very similiar to the pigalle in shape:

while the lady paige is curved:

i think last season there was a style that had the same arched heel without the ruffle but i can't remember the name .

thanks mistress f!

I think the style you mean (and the one I was thinking of) is the Feticha...

I have to agree - I am a huge fan of the Decollete style so the Elias is much more appealing to me. Does anyone know how these run? The nude ones are really pretty.

yes! exactly. i even tried them on, but then decided against it (solely for the fact that i need more practical heels than uber beautiful and tall ones).

the shape is also the same of the fifre booties, wich are the most comfortable high-heeled booties i've ever walked in

To be honest I didn't like the Feticha shoe shape AT ALL when I first saw it... but on the foot it is something else entirely. I tried on those Fifre boots in grey suede and it was magic... I was a convert.

i have a question to the Louboutin-professionals!!!

how long does it takes till the red sole looks like in the picture (rthe woman in red skirt)... how can i protect the sole? how long stays the sole red when i wear the shoes 3 times a week???

KamenKutak, from my experience it depends a lot on where and how often are you going to wear them. If you are going to used them just inside, house/office etc, I wouldn't bother protecting the sole, if it's to use outside, then yes, do protected them with a thin rubber sole as they can go like that pretty quickly and even get damaged beyond repair.

in my experience, the red sole goes away pretty fast if you're walking on the streets. it's a pity, but that's always happened to me. the only thing i can suggest you is to do an ebay search for 'red rubber soles' there are many sellers that have them at cheap prices and have a cobbler put them on. they'll protect the shoes and they'll look fine. i know many people around here did it and it's the only thing to do to prevent the damage. hope that was helpful

Yes, the Vibram soles are the best way to prevent this from happening, it also stops them being as slippy when they're new, I've even had problems opening doors when in new Louboutins because I just slide across the floor!
