Im moving to Idaho to go to school, and from what I've heard its like -40C with wind factor. So living in SoCal, I can't find any cloths localy, plus I have no idea what looks good and what not.

So what kind of caps or what not do people wear in really cold weather? Anyways to buy it online. CK has some nice looking beanies, but most likly I'd freeze my ears off with one of those.

P.S. Im new here so I might be in the wrong forum.

I live in upstate NY and it gets that cold here too!!

I wear those big fur hats that russian women wear (but I wear fake fur, of course)
Or I wear the aviator style hats with the flappy ears... Try to get something fuzzy, they really help keep you warm! If your hat doesn't cover your ears I'd recommend ear muffs too.

Brrrr

I wear my fur hat when it is cold (apparently you lose mose of your heat via your head). Anyway, enough about science, etc - here is (something v similar) to my hat............

I would love a cold-weather hat that provides a lot of coverage without being too attention-getting. I'm really casual and simple and I would love a hat that reflects that, without just being a plain touque (hope I've spelled that somewhat right)
