Comme des Garçons F/W 2016.17 Paris

wow- your comparison to fragonard is great runner~!
:flower:

i need to ask for a bit of clarification on sengoku chindonya
i found chindonya -
which seems like some ancient japanese street musicians or performers which are currently used as advertisers for small companies around town...
not sure about sengoku though?
...

thanks~!

it seems that today many of them were women.

sengoku is a certain historical period and the epitome of our aesthetical associations from the term would be this kind of armour called kacchu.
the last pic is of chindonya.

oh wow...
didn't know that ...

thanks so much...
looking back at the collection i can totally see the parallels...
tres cool!!

:mowhawk:

thanks for the vid...

though "in motion" is really stretching it, isn't it?
...

those girls could barely move!...
except for the last pink ruffled number...
she really swept through the room...

very marie antoinette...

Nice finding things and shapes one can really wear, and nothing hard too.. i like the red trousers for one
In other case some details are really beautiful but probably better just as a photo.
Not much into the armour idea, I think it would be interesting without it. Just simply a ballgown...

Thanks for 'chindonya' that was very neat

love that colour pic...
having such traditionally feminine stuff on a guy is a really great contrast...
it's hard and soft at the same time...
shiny patent but in a soft colour...
hard black hair and bottoms with a flowery soft top...
nice set and pose...

thanks runner!~
:flower:

none of it looks like a runway piece though...
even though it is obviously directly related to the collection...
:ermm:...
