I have one too Arthur - they're very nice don't you think. Does your have the brown buttons? By the way, I think the guy at IF is wrong. Evergreen debuted this season, and it's at all CDG outlets.

is yours with the peak lapels?

Does anybody knows a on-line shop where i can buy the CdG eVERGREEN SHOES ??????????? THNX

Evergreen S/S 2006

So far Evergreen this season seems to be based on something introduced in the Fall 2000 Homme Plus collection: making small jackets into bigger jackets by adding material at the bottom and in the back. So far this has been applied to jackets, sweatshirts, polo shirts, corduroy pants and sweaters with all kinds of different patterns and materials mixed together.

Here are pictures of a jacket from Fall 2000.

cool jacket Damien. Thanks for sharing. I think there's a similar re-work cardigan on brownsfashion.com. Looking realling cool. What do you think Johnny?

I love that cardigan buckwheat....it's gorgeous. I tried it on a few weeks a go, and liked it, but it is very very expensive. Did not buy. The tartan jackets are lovely too. They are all based on the A/W 2000 collection. Nqth and I have commented on that collection before; best homme plus collection in ages and not bettered since. The current evergreen collection is not as good though, a bit dull, not as colourful. I am also slightly miffed that this collection was references in a SHIRT line a few years ago, and was selling for a fraction of the price.....

They are really cool and expensive indeed. Don't really like the polo shirt though (brownsfashion.com). I like the mixtures of plain and pattern much better than plain on plain.

I am waiting for a good CDG tartan piece to add in to my wordrobe ^_^

the sales person at IF said that Evergreen was previously only available in japan, but now it seems like CdG's exporting the line.

there are some very nice black polyester Evergreen items at CdG NYC and IF. i will say it's pretty pricey... $1000 plus for a polyester jacket/blazer. the cut is very nice and sharp, very slim by CdG standard. the fabric is crumpled polyester. i have to admit, i gave in to one of them

..what ??. ...and to think that cdg use to burn their unsold stuff.....[ thats the rumour anyway ]:o :woot:

...Miyake has PERMANENTE which was created to reissue his classic and best of from the past.....i think CDG must have followed suit:ninja:

There's a Comme des Garcons Homme Plus Evergreen shirt/jacket that I could buy for vintage for very cheap, it is like a white shirt but sewn onto it is the jacket so it's just like one piece.. but both the shirt and jacket button up and open..
I've looked at it several times and I didn't think it was very good quality.. the overlocking on the inside and some of the stitching looked a bit crappy.. Maybe I should get it?
