I'm sorry if this has been posted already but I just discovered it and can't believe that somebody actually wrote a book about me!! :P

I bought a copy of the first one for my sister for her birthday, but the end of the week she had read all three and lent them to me.

They should be a requirement when you join this site LOL.

Highly recommend, must read.

haha omgosh that is soo weird cuz i just went to chapters and got the book today! i've only read 3 pages soo far and i like it already hehe

the whole series is great. I can't wait to read the fourth book!

I read the first book two years ago and I loved it, but I was disappointed in the books that followed. In Confessions of a Shopaholic, I liked that Rebecca Bloomwood was a regular girl with a regular job who liked to indulge herself a bit. But then she moved across the pond and was suddenly getting married at the Plaza, and I kind of lost interest. I couldn't relate to her anymore. Nonetheless, the first book still makes me laugh every time I read it.

I read all 3 in the series and might read her new book(not related to shopaholic series) Can I keep a Secret?...

I think if you liked this you might like the book called the Devil Wears Prada...I just finished reading and its a cute book.

Yes. I have all three in the series, plus her new one. I actually met her during a book signing at Barnes and Noble when "Shopoholic Ties the Knot" was released.
I can totally see myself in her character - LOL! :o

I haven't read the book yet, but I've heard many good things about it. I am planning on buying it the next time I'm at Chapters.

Omg I love these books! They are just soo funny! I'm really excited, the fourth one has just come out! You should just buy all four, sit in a nice comfortable spot and just read away. Be prepared to laugh out loud lol

I'm reading the 3rd one right now, and like someone hear said, it was written about me too lol.

I really love all of them especially when, at the end of the second one, luke shows up @ Barney's to save their relatioship OMG.

i just love them.

if you guys haven't read Trading Up by Candace Bushnell, it's an excellent one too.

What is the forth one's title? i need to get it really fast before i finsh the trird

Its called 'Shopaholic and sister'. I've heard really good reviews about it, its apparently just as funny as the others. However her sister doesnt like shopping...so that causes alot of problems lol

I read all three last summer and loved them to death. The best was the last with the wedding. And I can relate! :woot: Wich is actually bad... :(

hehe... i read them all last summer when I was stuck on a deserted island (true story btw)

not sure I want to read the rest of them... her anxiety about her credit card bills and shopping addiction made all the more aware of my own. not a pleasant combo.

All you guys are wrong. They are about me, not you. Ha ha ha.

Ugh... everyone loves this book. My mom brought it home, and I made it through about 5 chapters before I my annoyance was so unbearable I had to stop. I felt like strangling the main character for her stupidity.

Sorry, just my .02

Ok, as far as i can see everyone here loves those kind of books. So i have a question. Has anyone read the "Gossip Girl" books? I have read some reviews only and i like them a lot. My only problem is that they talk about high-school girls and since i'm 21 i can relate better to books like SATC, 4 blonds, Maneater etc. What do you think?

You and me, both, honey! Never have I wanted to wreak such violence upon a fictional character! It was almost more nerve wracking than the abusive/co-dependent relationship between Katharine and Heathcliffe in Wuthering Heights I don't have a lot of patience for people who blindly put themselves into incredibly stupid situations, even when those people are entirely made up!

I managed okay with Bridget Jones, but the [u[Edge of Reason[/u] was another of those that just made me want to go smack an imaginary person around!

i read them all.. love them, and i love her other book too.
can you keep a secret is cute.
all of her books are funny.. makes me laugh.. (and i get scared because i find similarities between me and rebecca :ninja: )

they do go overboard and its totally unrealistic, but it doesnt bother me much....its not supposed to be realistic.. as long as it makes me laugh... thats all i care..
