UK Cosmo with a new layout? Times are changing

Saw it out, and I'm quite disappointed. The font looks amateur, the pose very stiff, and photography cheap. What a way to defile Farrah's hard work of sophisticating this magazine.

I know - Farrah's version had a distinct visual signature, and if this is the calibre of shoot we're going to get from any new crop of cover subjects, I'll probably want them to bring the insta-girls back, because at least they know how to pose.

The cover shot makes her head look like the largest part of her body, and the accompanying editorial makes her look like a toddler running amok in a supermarket.

US Cosmo must have a permanent memo stating that food always has to form part of the cover story. Like they're counting on it subconsciously luring women in.

To be honest I hated their new layout when I first saw it (March 2019), but now I find their covers oddly satisfying to look at. Cosmo’s new style even inspired me to redesign my online magazine. I’m looking forward to see their upcoming covers even though most people aren’t feeling their new content. Judge me.
