Ok, so this thread died a few years ago, but I am part of a generation who just discovered this lovely series. I got all of the DVDs from a friend as a birthday present a couple of weeks ago and what can I say: I AM IN LOVE with Jeff. Eherm. So...anyway. I just had to say this out loud, hoping that there are others who just discovered this juwel of british comedy. I know you are out there!!

I (used to) love Coupling, but IMO, it doesn't hold up on multiple viewings. The characters are great though, the four of them anyway. I HATE(D) with passion the character of Steve. Maybe it's the actor who played him, but he almost ruins the show for me.

I never got the Friends comparison.

It was a great show. The US remake, however was abominable!
