Personally, Lipstick feels so contrived compared to CM. I saw the pilot for Lipstick and it just didn't get me hooked like CM. I really really wish ABC would continue on with this show, I just enjoy the characters in CM so much more!

what?! oh noo! i've been wondering what happened to the show. i thought it stopped due to the strike. didn't think it's possibly going to get cancelled?! CM really did grow on me. the story line is always fun and make you want to see more of it.

^ lol me too. it's my least fav character! i love lucy, but the other's storylines are more interesting to me.

I have to say i hated the first two episodes with passion but i still watched and from then on i think it really got better and i actually liked it.

I think Lipstick was marketed better than Cashmere. I had no idea this show was on til I stumbled upon it on ABC one night. I can't believe they would cancel the show! It actually had the making of the next SATC. I hope they don't cancel it. I often watch the reruns coz I really love the show

And with Lucy Liu, she's no Carrie Bradshaw but I think she's pretty and I like that the show doesn't revolve around her. Although I love Miranda Otto's character, and she's very classy and I think she portrays her role well.

I agree why keep Terminator and not CM?!! argh ABC better keep it or else I'm going to be so annoyed. As for those who said that it wasn't doing as well compared to Lipstick, I agree in overall rating numbers CM has seen slightly less viewership (considering the differences in funding putting into promoting the two I'm surprised the discrepancy is so little) but comparatively they ranked the same for viewship in their spot (or that evening, I can't remember) which was 3rd.

Even though Lucy is much prettier than Carrie (SJP), SJP pulls off the clothes a bit better. Also, SJP is a much better actress. Lucy's acting annoy me a bit. But I liked the show.
Anywho, why don't they just finish season 1 and see how it goes? Who knows?!

Fashion at CM is so fab. so fab, fab, fab!!!!

They make each character wear different styles. Though, Lucy Lui's character is so amazing, they make her wear wierdest pieces, but i love it! Great!!!!
