Coupling's great. It's one of those shows that you know you shouldn't find funny but you do. My favourite is the episode where Jane can't decide what to wear to dinner and so she goes naked apart from a trenchcoat. When she asks the kid to bring her a dress, it's pure genius .

yep she does/did go out with Sam (yes I'm jealous of that as well!)

Yep, I think it's in it's 5th season. I love that episode where Jane goes to the party naked! Did you see the one where Jeff gets nervous talking to a pretty girl (whose legs he'd been checking out) so he gets flustered (as usual) and tells her he has a wooden leg? That one's one of my favorites. That and the one where Jane starts dating this religous guy who takes her to a church group meeting? Such a funny show...

If you don't watch TV that's PROBABLY why you haven't seen it. I can't be sure though. If you do watch TV one day I'd suggest watching it- there are some episodes that are so funny that I literally have trouble catching my breath b/c I'm laughing so hard.

I was often really close to hyperventilating or screaming, but it because it always began at 11pm I had to keep it quiet, tears were running down my face. The last thing was a lie. But so close!

I hardly watch tv either, maybe it's on again, why didn't I check earlier? Why?

I have the first season on DVD, but I think the second was funnier.

I meant that I have the 2nd on DVD, but the first one was funnier, or maybe the 3rd, can't recall.

When I was away at school we couldn't get TV reception so I bought a ton of DVD's over the course of 4 years. I have the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th seasons all on DVD (I think the 2nd and 3rd are the funniest). Can't wait for the 5th. I am such a dork

I love Coupling although I don't think it's much like SATC or Friends (both of which I love as well) The first three seasons are great but I thought the fourth wasn't so good as it didn't have Jeff, my favourite character.

They did maintain it pretty well, though. A lot of shoqws completely fall apart when a main character leaves.
