Here is a very interesting excerpt from André Leon Talley's latest interview in New York Times regarding the Wintour-Trump meeting. I'm personally stunned that he didn't know about it and that it took him this much to believe it.

But, I point out, Donald Trump was bragging on the trail only the day before that he had just had a meeting with André's Vogue compadre and fellow Hillary supporter Anna Wintour. At first, André has a hard time believing that Ms. Wintour would venture anywhere near the dreaded Trump Tower. I have to actually show him the story and get it confirmed with the Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks. But finally he shrugs under his puffery.

"As for Anna Wintour going to Mr. Trump, she's a powerful woman, she's running an empire, she's the editorial director of Condé Nast," he says. "We can't judge her for going to a meeting. She's a professional, powerful woman. That's all I have to say."

Must say, I didn't hate Klein's last shape issue. The retouching was bad of course, but once I had the issue in my hand the end result was quite tolerable.

According to Jacob Neely on Instagram, Bella Hadid has shot with Steven Meisel in New York, and from what she's wearing in the behind-the-scenes photo, I assume the shoot took place recently.

Any news about VI? There's 2 posthumous issues by Franca, one of those was shoot by Klein, and January by Meisel. March is the start for the new EIC.

Also, they did a shoot in October as well in NY did that surface yet? Seems Vogue is scraping her shoots (to official get a cover this summer).

After Irina Shayk starring in Alberta Ferretti's advertising campaign by Steven Meisel, I wouldn't be surprised to see Irina score the cover of Vogue Italia at this point. We all know Meisel likes to use the odd bombshell now and again for VI (Kate Upton and Candice Swanepoel to name a few).

Don't follow her career or care for her, so maybe she had these already. Also, will it be OG, or something grand (with Bradley). I think she's had a Sports Illustrated cover and she was just on W, but I can see her getting a GQ cover after the pregnancy and a Vogue cover while pregnant.

GQ would be thrilled to land Irina on their cover. The pregnancy + Cooper relationship has taken her [already reasonably high] profile to another level. And she's genuinely worked very hard over the past couple of years to increase her high fashion cred. I'm not sure a solo US Vogue cover is in the cards just yet. Wait til the wedding, and then perhaps.
