I wish people would be honest about their petty, jealous, and racist reasons for disliking The Duchess of Sussex. The woman is guest editing a frivolous fashion magazine, not campaigning for Trump. Everything she does is over scrutinized, and and viewed as scheming. She can't even christen her child, without British people feeling entitled to have complete access. The worldwide obsession with seeing her pics of her child, is really about seeing how black he is, or isn't.

Her Prince is never gonna become King, and she will never be Queen, so why can't she and Harry be left in peace? The British Monarchy is such a meaningless joke, in a modern world. The amount of attention and reverence it gets is bananas, especially in America.

Think of all the nonsense members of the royal family have done, from cheating on their royal spouses, to hanging out with pedophiles aboard the "Lolita Express", to supporting Nazis, to partying naked in Vegas, to selling access to other family members. From where I stand Meghan's an upstanding person compared to half the rest of them.

And therein lies one of those differences between royalty and celebrity - if you're born into it, you get a free pass. If you're not born into it, you have to buckle down and toe the line for a while, until you get 'accepted' and then you get your free pass.

This happens with everyone who marries into this sort of thing. It happens every time an aristocrat takes up with someone from outside his social circle (or country or skin colour). With Meghan, it's just happening on the world stage.

It’s blatant racism and sexism. She hasn’t done anything to deserve so much hate. It’s beyond ridiculous. And, I am sorry but both William and Harry are the biggest celebrities in this country used for the branding of the royal family and keeping/making them relevant with the youngsters.
