Um...this is not just any family, this is the President's family, and he is obligated to be sensitive to the citizens of his country.

How is it insensitive, though? After reading the piece, it really doesn't sound offensively extravagant at all to me, beyond what you'd expect a society wedding to be like. This is Vogue, not Mother Jones.

Zoe Saldaña has a hit Netflix show, is the female lead in the new Avatar movie out next week, has a hit Marvel franchise, etc. yet she seems to fly under the radar - unless we're counting digital covers of InStyle. She was at the dinner. Wouldn't mind if Edward gave her a cover. Margot Robbie has Babylon out in a few weeks, though maybe people are waiting for Barbie next summer. Janelle Monáe has the new Knives Out and may score a best supporting actress nomination... lots of viable options in addition to the names already mentioned.

Taylor has the tour announcement to potentially come and as of today the song is still number one, however I’d say the moment has passed.

That being said, I find it hard to believe a cover like that would be scrapped and not swapped out of the Elizabeth / Sienna / Yaz one. Surely it was the bigger coup etc.

Who knows; maybe we will see it, but as it was shot in July I imagine it’s really quite dated now re what was shot.

Are we certain a cover was shot in July? She shot the “Bejewled” video in London in July, and Pat McGrath was in that video. It was rumored she was doing a collab with McGrath’s makeup line as well, but no idea if there’s truth to that.

There was a photoshoot for sure for a magazine, and to date nothing has come out at all it could be, so I’d say it was either scrapped due to Her Majesty or something else impacted it arriving.

Photos leaked of Rihanna, A$AP, and their baby doing a photoshoot on the beach in Malibu. Looked to me like it was Inez and Vinoodh taking photos. Doesn't necessarily mean it's a cover, but any thoughts?
