Speaking of WAGs on the cover of British Vogue, who can remember when Alexandra Shulman shocked the world and gave Victoria Beckham her first Vogue cover? That cover by Nick Knight remains one of my most favourite of Vogue covers - ever!

Yes! It’s one of my favourites too! I’d become obsessed with Victoria Beckham in the year prior and when I found out she was going to be on Vogue I couldn’t wait to see it. It would’ve been the first issue I ever bought, but I couldn’t pluck up the courage to buy it as a teenage boy - it only took a couple of months though and I was finally brave enough to go to the counter with the June issue of that year and I’ve been hooked ever since.

I eventually bought that Victoria cover as a back issue and I still love it to this day. That unapologetic glamour (bordering on tacky) is the mark of a quintessential Vogue cover for me. 2008 was one of the best of Alexandra’s editorship, and also holds my gold standard for British Vogue issues - the December fashion fantasy with that fold-out Kate Moss cover

The Sun are reporting that Coleen Rooney is Vogue UK's September cover star

I'm starting to think someone from Coleen's team leaked the news to the tabloids. Funnily enough, all her pap stories now start with 'Upcoming Vogue cover star spotted...' and now she's photographed even more.

Don't ever tell me that Vogue, as a brand, is dead. The magazines yes, but not the brand.

Think we all just saw that it's Kim Kardashian on the cover of Vogue Italia's upcoming issue, by Rafael Pavarotti. The cover remains on Twitter but with Kim Kardashian removing the post from Instagram and Vogue Italia not revealing the cover yet... I've taken the thread down.

Can anyone identify what is Kim wearing in the cover? To my uneducated eye, the dress looks like JPG and the headpiece looks like Valentino, but I don't know for sure. Does anyone know? Thanks.

Utterly gorgeous cover! Such a shame it was deleted. I recall Albert Watson as well and Meisel from the late 80s. I was thinking about the Piume ed with Linda Evangelista. The dress she's wearing makes the things for itself as well. I remember Jenna Ortega wearing it for ELLE and the shot is also amazing.

They got it from WWD. She will allegedly return to be the face of Phoebe Philo’s new line, so I’m not sure she will be back on any covers soon, although I’m manifesting hard that she will be the model for Steven Meisel and Edward Enninful’s final cover for British Vogue.

The way things are going, it wouldn't surprise me if we all receive the gift of Edward putting himself on the cover, as some final kind of 'first'.

Speaking of models on the cover of British Vogue... I still haven't forgotten about the supermodel documentary coming on AppleTV+ (official release date remains unknown) and Cindy Crawford mentioning in her Vogue Arabia March 2023 interview that her peers had recently reunited in New York for a shoot.
