My guess for Vogue Italia will be Karen Elson simply because she got at least one cover every year for quite a while now and I haven't seen her on any 2009 Vogue Italia cover.

Usually I would like to see Karen on a cover, but what with Kristen, Linda and Sasha(x2), getting covers this year, plus the return of Rianne, I'm a little bit tired of Meisel's all-time favourites. If Karen, or any other obvious choice, gets the cover, I'd like to see a multi-girl edit with one or more new faces. I kinda want to be surprised by a completely new face that hasn't been connected to Meisel yet. Mirte maybe?

^Double ditto! This is what I've been wishing for to happen since Iselin was shot by Meisel in last season's Lanvin campaign. Iselin needs to land a VI cover again! But if it's Karen, it'll be just okay for me since I don't ever get tired seeing her in a VI. Why not Elise Crombez?!?!?!

I think everyone's in agreement that it's best not to ask such things. If there is any news/rumours about them, then they will be posted.

You seem to check this thread, and post in it a fair amount, so if there was anything posted about it I'd imagine you'd have seen it when you've read this thread.

Maybe I'm saying something silly, but I think it won't be Karen because she is red-haired, and Rianne has come out with red hair in the last two covers. Unless they dye her hair I don't think it will be her.

I haven't heard anything, but with a January issue - and it being the start of a new decade - I can't help wondering if UK Vogue will recreate one of their group model shots, the same way they opened the 1990s with that iconic cover shot of the supermodels, and then sporadically followed it up with similar issues. All shots from fashion-iconography.net.
